Bali in the afternoon is really hot. Tanah Lot is an eye opening scene and this makes me hungry. I know it makes no sense, but I felt really hungry and not only me, the whole team felt that way. Maybe we used to much energy enjoying ourselves with the scenery. The next place is another great place which is GWK. This is the latest tourist spot where Badong dance and Kecak dance come to live. We did not manage to catch any dance as they have fixed hours on those performances. All we did was to walk around the place and get to know the History and Culture of Bali better. Before that, I shall introduce you to some delicacy of Bali. Nasi Bebek is the famous duck rice in Bali and it can be found in many places in Bali. We have Nasi Bebek up on a hill in GWK with a phenomenal view where we can even see the airport. Here goes the pics, please get ready to salivate.

After a satisfying lunch.. |
After a heavy lunch, we need to exercise, what is better than to tour GWK. GWK is tells the story about the sea king, thats what I've heard, if I'm not mistaken. Garuda Wisnu is one of the sea king or god and in GWK we learn the whole story about it. Below are the pics where it paints a thousand words.

After which we were guided out through a souvenir shop where we bought a few items back for our friends. The whole afternoon journey was spent a lot in the car where the locations are far apart. Therefore the next destination will be a more relaxing place where we get to sleep in the car through the journey, I for one and the only person in the whole team did not get a single second sleep. Don't ask me why because I don't know. Maybe I was just too excited over the whole trip. Find out which beautiful and relaxing place we went, on the next blog Bali Trip Day 2, 14 April 2011 (Evening).
